PERSONAL INTEGRITY QUESTIONED
The Kenyan debate has become such a trendy trend, with the process and the candidates being talked about all over the World in a good or bad way, but all that matters is the kind of great patience and trust Kenyans have shown the IEBC.
That however is not my focus. This most talked about topic lately has left me with numerous questions with concerns to Personal Integrity, which is my topic this time round.
At this time, we are all judging and measuring up what the level of the Kenyan Presidential Candidates Credibility and Personal Integrity . I have a whole lot to write and talk about, but thank God someone said it in a simpler way before me, because, I may be biased.
Personal Integrity can mean many things to many people, but it all rounds up to being true to self and upright with others.
So, ' Remember, people will judge you by your actions, and NOT your intentions. You may have a heart of Gold, but so does a hard-boiled egg'. Said Anonymous.
We should always remember, that it is only an individual who knows their true self, the rest can only go as deep as what they seem to see and in accordance with their judgement.
Human beings can be anything, depending on who you are to them, and what their immediate need is at that moment in time. Trust you me, if you deserve praise or mockery, all draws back to the human view of you.
Do not struggle to look good at all times, to all. If you are sure you are doing the right thing, and it is not criminal, be as simple as 'TRUE TO SELF'.
The best mark you should ever leave behind as a legacy is a mark of Truth, forget the material wealth of the World, that is never enough. Why? Because, people will later love and appreciate how honest you were, at a time none of them believed nor supported you. o, as you point fingers to the candidates, ask yourself what each of them stood for.
My!! What more can I say?
