Most of the time in all our conversations, our body movement speak more volume of what we feel at that moment than our mouth does. We express if we are engaged in the chat or not unconsciously, and it may pass signal to the other person if they are keen to notice. The signals we send determine how well or wrong the conversation ends. We almost always show with our hands how we feel, whether happy, in control, shy or shaken, it will always show. Amy Cuddy, a social scientist gave a talk on TED and I felt I needed to share this science of body language and how it relates to our communication, social life and relations to others. She is incredible at how she brings out the body language when the least meet the greatest. We all have had or will have an interview at some point in our lives, she gives some tip on how to set your body in preparation for the interview. I have always considered myself a very friendly person, most of us have. Have you ever met someone or people for the first time and immediately mistrusted or thought they were the coolest beings ever? There is a clear demonstration on how you can tell a genuine smile and otherwise. The most hillarious part is how you can detect if someone you are conversing with is lying or not. There are a million and one definitions of who a mother is in the many dictionaries, but they all agree on one word, awesome. Imagine if there was only Adam in the beginning, OK stop, you would not have been hear to read this. Mothers have made the 7 Billion population of the World a reality. They suffer 9 months uncomfortability, irritation, sickness and delivery, but still afford to look at us with a big smile, and even ask to embrace us, in a midst of pain. The Kenyan debate has become such a trendy trend, with the process and the candidates being talked about all over the World in a good or bad way, but all that matters is the kind of great patience and trust Kenyans have shown the IEBC.
