Happy International #WomensDay

To every single woman — Happy #IWD26 🌸

What an incredible blessing it is to be a woman.

With all the challenges and vulnerabilities that come with it, we are still called to show up fully. Often, we are not only solving the problems of the world, but carrying the weight of it all — many times quietly, and sometimes while being overlooked.

So many capable women wrestle with self-doubt.

Near misses.

Opportunities we thought we had but slipped away.

Moments of trying to fit in while feeling completely out of place.

And yet, look at us.

When we look back, we realize just how far we have come. Today, women are occupying tables and rooms we once could only dream about.

Are we fully there? Not yet.

Are we equally represented? Not yet.

But you — yes, you — are the woman inspiring the next generation of girls. Girls who will one day speak about the doors you opened for them, even if you don’t realize it yet.

  • May the confidence of Wangu wa Makeri,
  • the eloquence of Maya Angelou,
  • the courage of Wangari Maathai,
  • the relentlessness of Graça Machel,
  • the warrior spirit of Harriet Tubman,
  • the audacity of Sanae Takaichi and Claudia Sheinbaum,
  • the wit of Eleanor Roosevelt,
  • and the joyful spirit of Viola Davis fill you up this #WomensDay as you step into your next best self.

Keep showing up. Keep taking space. Keep opening doors.

And when you can, reach back and lift another woman up.
