In a Woman's World

Image
More than a half of the World's women population had pictured themselves in a wedding dress, marrying their prince charming as little girls. We hold this dream so dear until our first breakup with a dear boyfriend, and then, the guys who come after this period, fall victims of the heartless guy who they came after. We then go to schools, where we meet the girls who have gone through the same situation, make friends and talk about our broken hearts over and over again, until it does not affect us anymore. At this point, we are not surprised anymore when a guy is acting all funny. Most probably we are prepared for the worst but are still willing to fight some more. Many are times when we refuse to get over the past and dwell on it as a means of reference to any bad situation that comes up in our lives. We begin to doubt everyone including our girlfriends. We are angry at everyone. We put up a 'trust no-one policy' which inturn does us more harm than good. People then s...

Rude Awakening at Work-Brazil

Image
On this day, we were woken up earlier than usual to prepare for Global Village. An event that AIESEC has for the interns to tell the people of the country they are in about their; countries, cultures, traditions, music, food, and every little detail about how different or similar these countries are to to theirs. It is quite an adventure, you get to be such a patriot.

AMERICAN KENYA

Image
Kenya is a British colony, I wonder why Kenyans are more American than British especially in the English Language. Kenyans seem to like almost every American item and persons be it music, fashion or politics.   We listen to the American music, dress like Americans, talk like them, and we are always at the disposal of the slightest American issue. Well, the rest of the World adored Obama as he campaigned for Presidency in the states, but Kenyans felt his recognition, bowed to his influence, sang his praises and dwelt so much on how related they are to the one with the ‘Kenyan blood’.   The media recognized Obama's grandmother and even called her to endless number of interviews.   Well, she even has a tight security, which is something thoughtful, I wonder if she would have been cared for before Obama became President, ok at least he visited her as a senator, of course for political reason we are all too familiar with.   We have so many Kenyan tele...

TATTOOS IN THE PRESENT WORLD

Image
Defining Tattoo Tattoo is a work of art done on the human flesh. Tattoo has been there since time in memorial and is still being practiced presently though people have very different views and superstitions. Nothing has been as beautiful and attractive on the human body as tattoo, though people may argue on piercings, a greater number of people practice tattoo more than piercing. Tattoos in the present world are so beautiful and attractive but there are people that can never be convinced to have them on. The major reasons for tattoos are; peer pressure, for fashion, some do it to fit in a group, to some it is for the beauty and pride. Tattoo is all about what you want make your skin look better and attractive. It has the beauty any one would want to have on their skin. History They date back to the 18 th  century when the Chinese women would have it done all over their body and to the young men it would be done on their private parts and because of the pain they would...
